Welcome to the home of the Portage Park Cougars

The Portage Park Cougars is an all volunteer, not-for-profit organization established to promote the wholesome development of youth through their association with adult leaders in the sport of American football. Players compete in an atmosphere that promotes teamwork, builds self-esteem and teaches respect for others. Rules and regulations have been established to ensure that players play in a safe, non-threatening competitive environment with a competitive balance between teams. The Portage Park Cougars currently compete in the TCYFL.

TCYFL All-star game - The TCYFL have announced this year's All-star game to be held at Allstate arena on June 16th to be played during halftime of the Chicago Rush vs. Georgia Force game. Click here for more details.

Cheerleading Coaches - We are looking for experienced, dedicated cheerleading coaches for all age groups. Please email Stacey at portagecougarscheer@gmail.com if interested. We cannot do it without volunteers!

Cheerleading Instructional Clinic - Saturday April 14th 12-3pm at the Portage Park Field House. Registration fee is $7 at the door (cash only). Clinic is for children ages 5-13 (no High School students please). Cheering, Jumping and Stunting will be demonstrated and taught. You do not need to be registered to attend. Bring a Friend!
