Welcome to the home of the Portage Park Cougars

The Portage Park Cougars is an all volunteer, not-for-profit organization established to promote the wholesome development of youth through their association with adult leaders in the sport of American football. Players compete in an atmosphere that promotes teamwork, builds self-esteem and teaches respect for others. Rules and regulations have been established to ensure that players play in a safe, non-threatening competitive environment with a competitive balance between teams. The Portage Park Cougars currently compete in the TCYFL.

Mandatory Coaches Meeting - has been scheduled for Wednesday February 13th. 7:00 PM at the Portage Park Fieldhouse.

February General Meeting - has been scheduled for Monday February 20th. 7:00 PM at the Portage Park Fieldhouse. This agenda for this meeting will be to discuss changes to the NCJFA Bylaws, all interested parties are asked to attend. If there are specific changes to the Bylaws you would like to discuss, please bring a typed copy of your request to present to the board. Changes will be discussed at this meeting, and will be voted on at the March 26th. meeting.
